A Storyteller at heart, with a focus on Writing and Social-Design.
In art you are free to explore and do whatever you please. While Design is constrained. It has deadlines and goals, concrete things to achieve. But the process for me feels very much the same.
Wether i'm writing a Poem or doing Social-Design, it's all
about storytelling.
With characters and settings, stories and
lessons, trying to make the story as compelling. So people
understand what i'm seeing. To create a convincing picture or
sketch an idea.
In art i'm in service to myself
while in design i'm in service to the people. To the people im
designing for, the stakeholders and for people at large.
So for me Art and Design kind of intertwined.
All my projects involve some form of the human experience. Focusing on societal problems, using Human-Centered Design or capturing the human experience itself in art. It all goes back to wanting to understand and better the human condition.
